I`m getting "data verify error ref 964" when cloning the DME, or even when back up & restore (same files) on EX-FLASH.

reading is working fine, but when restore is bricking the DDE!

Data verify Error,Please try again - Ref:964-
-this is in factory mode.

Hello!

Got the same fault ith an MEVD17.2 from a Mini. The problem is the wrong checksum during the write. I tried to read out the DME with KTAG and saw this error (wrong checksum). When I restore the DME with the original file with KTAG everything is okay.

Boot mode works, so you`ll need to open the dde/dme

no in boot mode, you can use factory mode to read them but use boot mode to write them..

BTW this applies to DDE EDC17CP09 , not sure about other DDE's or DME's
